Children with Complex Needs team
We are looking to recruit a senior social worker to our Children with Complex Needs team. You will have knowledge and experience of working with children with complex needs and their families. This role involves assessing planning and implementing support strategies to enhance the wellbeing of children while collaborative with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners. You will also have knowledge and experience of child protection, complex child in need and PLO / care proceedings. You will also have knowledge and experience of working within the legislation and frameworks aimed to protect the rights of children with complex needs, ensure their access to education and services, and provide the necessary support for their development and well-being.   You will be able to demonstrate a good quality of work including court statements, assessments etc. and will be able to support the team manager with mentoring and coaching those less experienced members of your team.   You will be enthusiastic, passionate and committed to improving the lived experience of our children.  You will be a role model for the less experienced staff members demonstrating true professionalism in all you do.  This will include providing learning opportunities, reflection and modelling.  We are striving to improve our quality and performance and you will lead by example.
