Blackpool Families Rock - Request for Support Hub - Referral and Information Co-Ordinator
We are seeking a Referral and Information Co-Ordinator to join our Request for Support Team (MASH). The Hub is the first point of contact for all children in need of help and protection. The role of the Hub Referral and Information Co-Ordinator is to work under the direction of a Team Manager to ensure that concerns are identified and responded to quickly from professionals and members of the public who may raise safeguarding concerns.
As a Referral and Information Co-Ordinator it is desirable that you have some knowledge of safeguarding and/or child protection procedures, as you will be working closely with partners to respond to calls and ensure information you obtain is completed in a timely manner.
Blackpool Council offers a high level of comprehensive support and supervision and a competitive salary. You will be working in a team that will support you during the sometimes, emotive nature of the role.
What we offer
We’ve strengthened our recruitment process so you’ll get a quick response to your application. We offer regular virtual interview days and we will keep in contact with you from the day you are offered a role to your first day with us.
Please contact Team Manager, Caroline Cottam at caroline.cottam1@blackpool.gov.uk for any queries.
