Service Manager - Blackpool Family Safeguarding

This is an opportunity to lead our Supporting and Strengthening Service with the embedding of our co-produced Blackpool Families Rock model of practice, which is a relationship, restorative and strengths-based approach to enabling and supporting families.

The service aims to support practitioners to work in partnership with families to ensure that, where appropriate, children and young people are cared for by their family within their community.

Social Work caseloads are manageable in order to create the space for meaningful relationships with children, young people and families.

The service focuses upon children, young people and families who require longer-term support via CIN, those children and young people subject to Child Protection Plans, children at risk of or suffering exploitation and those subject to Public Law Outline, Pre-Proceedings and initial applications to the Courts. Also within the service is the Supporting Children with Complex Needs Team, Emergency Duty Team, and a solution focused brief intervention team known as the Families Together Intervention Team.

"Strengthening families is at the core of what we do"
